Who We Are
The purpose of this workgroup is to create a comprehensive network of PrEP information resources for the Triangle community and providers. We will collaborate with Triangle providers and organizations currently invested in PrEP promotion to create a sustainable and fluid network of information surrounding PrEP for HIV prevention. Our primary focus will be on increasing community access to PrEP information and services. Our workgroup will work to support community access, with funding being allocated for direct financial assistance to individuals seeking PrEP. We will work to identify limitations and barriers to PrEP access and retention and collaboratively work toward solutions. Our workgroup will be an open venue where all voices will be respected and acknowledged.
Ultimately, we aim to lower the rate of new HIV infections as individuals gain access to PrEP.
